Nobles
The Nobles in Medieval France had not many rights but many responsibilities. The were group of high class people that were very rich. They owned large portions of land which they rented off to serfs to farm and cultivate.They were helpful to the king.
The nobles had many rights but not as much as the king. They could help the kings with business. The nobles they could control what they did. Sometimes they manipulated the king to get their way. Also, the right to do things that serfs couldn't do such as own land.

The offspring of nobles became knights because it was considered a great honor.They also had the responsibility of housing knights in training.
